Why it matters
Accessibility defects are often repeated template decisions: an unlabeled input, an unnamed icon button, or a heading outline that makes orientation harder. FixWeb surfaces those patterns while separating evidence a crawler can verify from issues that still require a person using assistive technology.
How it works
The deterministic pass records image alt coverage and decorative-image marking, the html language, headings and landmarks, skip links, tap-target sizing, form labels, required and autocomplete signals, control names, and console or runtime errors. A model reviews whether alt text, links, headings, and controls communicate purpose instead of merely existing.
Site impact
Missing names and structure can block screen-reader navigation, make forms harder to complete, and increase errors on touch devices. A clean crawl does not prove full conformance: contrast, keyboard operation, focus behavior, flashing, and screen-reader interaction depend on rendered pixels or live use and remain manual follow-up areas.
How to improve
Give meaningful images concise, useful alt text and use alt="" for decoration. Label every control programmatically, mark required fields, add valid autocomplete tokens, declare the page language, and provide skip links plus header, nav, main, and footer landmarks. Then test keyboard flow, focus, contrast, and a screen reader on representative templates.
