Why it matters
Many pages fail before the writing begins because they answer the wrong question in the wrong shape. FixWeb looks for evidence that a page has an editorial brief behind it, not a generic outline padded to an arbitrary word count.
How it works
Crawl signals inspect question-shaped H2s, concise answer paragraphs, H3 nesting, repetitive heading prefixes, section balance, outbound link counts and anchor descriptions, and inbound support. When SERP and keyword providers are available, the evaluator compares intent, dominant result format, shared entities, citations, and word-count depth with the top results; unavailable provider data is returned as not assessable rather than guessed.
Site impact
A format mismatch can make a useful answer invisible to the audience it targets. Orphan pages and vague anchors weaken topic connections, while missing entities and statistics leave readers and answer engines without the specificity needed to understand the subject. Depth should follow the opportunity, not a universal quota.
How to improve
Start with the target intent and dominant SERP format, then order H2s around the reader's follow-up questions. Put a direct 40 to 60 word answer immediately after each question heading, nest H3s correctly, and avoid repetitive openers. Link to three to five relevant internal pages with descriptive anchors and make sure one to three existing pages support the new piece.
