Why it matters
A strong article with no feed, share card, or path back to an owned hub is difficult to distribute consistently. FixWeb looks for the technical conditions and visible channel choices that separate deliberate distribution from publish-and-hope.
How it works
The crawl checks RSS or Atom, newsletter and email-capture entry points, linked social profiles, a real blog or content hub, Open Graph and Twitter-card tags, share images, canonical consistency, and article or author structured data. A model judges whether channels and formats fit the intended audience and whether the pattern looks like channel-fit rather than hope-and-pray or spam-everywhere.
Site impact
Missing share metadata produces bare, low-context links; inconsistent canonicals can split value across syndicated copies; and scattered content gives audiences nowhere durable to return. A connected analytics provider can add per-channel reach, engagement, and conversion actuals, but FixWeb does not infer campaign performance from social icons or tags alone.
How to improve
Maintain an owned content hub and RSS or Atom feed, offer a clear newsletter path, and link only the social profiles that fit the audience and format. Add complete Open Graph and Twitter-card metadata with a suitable image. Keep canonicals pointed consistently at the owning URL and publish article or author schema where appropriate. Use analytics to compare channel reach, engagement, and conversion before scaling distribution.
