Why it matters
Being visible to AI search is not a single metadata switch. A useful source states its answer plainly, shows why it should be trusted, and gives crawlers a predictable path to the content and entity behind it.
How it works
The evaluator looks for direct section answers, natural question headings, atomic facts, useful tables or lists, original and sourced evidence, author credentials, dates, appropriate Schema.org types, complete Organization and Person identity, genuine FAQPage or HowTo markup, /llms.txt, robots decisions for GPTBot, ClaudeBot, Google-Extended, and PerplexityBot, landmarks, and server-rendered content.
Site impact
Buried answers and generic claims are difficult to quote accurately. Missing dates, authors, schema properties, or entity links reduce context, while an accidental AI-crawler block can prevent discovery regardless of copy quality.
How to improve
Open important sections with a concise answer, add sourced specifics and credible author context, and use valid schema only for genuine content. Publish a useful /llms.txt, make an explicit robots policy, server-render critical text, and connect real owned profiles through sameAs.
