Why it matters
Traffic from the wrong search intent is often less useful than a smaller set of queries matched to the right page. FixWeb checks whether the site's visible pages and internal structure look mapped to a deliberate topic strategy instead of a one-keyword-per-page pile.
How it works
The rubric distinguishes informational, navigational, commercial, and transactional intent, then considers SERP overlap, primary and secondary terms, internal topic hubs, and opportunity versus difficulty. The evaluator can inspect on-site signals, but it does not manufacture search volume, difficulty, or competitor rankings when keyword or SERP data is absent.
Site impact
Poor intent matching sends searchers to pages that cannot complete their task, while unclustered terms encourage thin content and cannibalization. Clear priorities help a team spend effort on topics with strategic fit and addressable SERPs rather than chasing vanity volume or results pages already dominated by answer features.
How to improve
Build a candidate set from real seeds, existing visibility, and relevant competitors, then validate the dominant SERP intent before assigning a page. Cluster overlapping queries into substantive hubs, map one primary page to each cluster, and prioritize by business fit, opportunity, difficulty, and the chance of earning an organic click.
